  1. Don't spend a penny on making it faster. Set the brakes and suspension up for the track and get out there as often as you can and really learn to drive. As others have said, some cars will be faster & some slower. In your infancy on the track you'll get your arse kicked to the shithouse by so many lesser cars driven by experienced drivers. You'll end up wasting money if you do anything beyond track essential braking, suspension and geometry upgrades. Learn to get the most out of what you have before spending more and more.
