  1. I was just thinking. I only want to see if the standard 180 dials are behind the dials that are fitted now. Am I able to do this with the cluster still in? Would I just have to remove the clear plastuc part, remove speedo needle and undo the two little black screws on the dial to see whats behind it?
  2. Well lets hope you get further than what I have. I still cant get it out! It's driving me mad! Could you do me a huge favour and maybe post a pic of the back of your cluster once you have got it out? Just so I can see whereabouts the speedo cable plugs into. I must have been near as I moved something and the needle on the speedo moved a bit. If you could do that for me mate I would really appreciate it. Regards, Lee.
  3. Lol, tell me about it! Makes it twice as hard when you cant see what your doing! Thanks mate!
  4. Is anyone able to tell me wether you have to twist the speedo cable to get it out or does it just pull out?
  5. Hi. I have bought a Greddy turbo timer and harness for my Glanza but just wanted to check one thing. I was told the harness that I have bought with the turbo timer plugs into a socket just above the ignition barrell. I have posted two pictures below of a socket I found and just wanted to check wether or not this is what I plug the harness into. Any help will be much appreciated. Regards, Lee.
  6. Ha, i know! It's not easy! I managed to get the top three plugs out, just the speedo cable now. How does it come out? Do you have to twist it or something? I'm going to finish it in the morning as I was getting frustrated with it! lol!
  7. I do like the buddy club p1's but the only thing im not keen on is the red line going round the rim.
  8. Hi all. I am in the process of removing my instrument cluster out of my Glanza. I removed the black casing around the cluster held on with two philips screws. Then I removed the three screws holding the cluster to the dash. I now need to remove the three plugs behind the cluster, I took one off but cant do the other two as they are pretty tight. I wanted to see if the cluster would pull out a bit more for me to get better access to the plugs but it feels like there is still something holding it on. Are there any other screws holding it together? Thanks in advance, Lee.
  9. No dont have a boost gauge yet. Gonna get one ordered soon though. Is it basically just having your high boost button on all the time then instead of having to push it when you want the extra power? Once I have pipes swapped round, ill let you know what it's like. Thanks again, Lee.
  10. Thanks for all your help Jae-Glanza and silverglanza, really appreciate it. Is it noticeable in only high boost or also in low? Or do I loose the use of the high and low boost button?
  11. Is it quite noticeable once the pipes have been swapped? Performance wise I mean. Obviously it's not going to make a huge difference?
  12. Hi all. I read somewhere you can take the restriction out of 1st and 2nd gear by swapping some pipes round? I have posted a picture below and circled the pipes which I think you have to swap as i'm unsure which ones exactly they are. If I do swap them round will this do any damage to my car? It is standard apart from an exhaust and air filter. Will I need an adjustable actuator or anything if I do this? Thanks in advance, Lee.
  13. Hi all. I need two stickers for my Glanza. The two I need are the ones on the boot lid. So thats the Glanza V sticker and the Starlet sticker. I have seen them on ebay but even though it will cost alot more I would rather buy them from toyota. Has anyone on here ordered these stickers off toyota? If so, could someone kindly post the part numbers for me? Thanks in advance, Lee.
  14. Thanks mate. I'll do that once I get the car back.
  15. Yeah but once the cluster is out, can you remove the clear plastic bit at the front?
  16. I didnt think of that. The new face was put on by someone else. I'll take the cluster out of mine and see if the original is behind the new face. I hope it is, will be much easier and less hassle for me. How do you take the faces off?
  17. Looking at a set of Glanza dials on ebay as I need to change mine from 110 back to 180. However, as its the whole instrument cluster thats for sale, am I able to take out the odometer and put the one from mine into the new one? The reason im asking is because if I cant, the mileage will be higher than what it actually is!
  18. Here you go lads, take a look at this! http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=32750
  19. There is a metro near me thats on the barry boys site. I'll post the link on here for you to have a look. It won the competition for "Shed Of The Year 2009" on the site.
  20. Yeah I will be fitting a converter. I dont suppose anyone on here has a set of standard Glanza 180 dials lying around anywhere?
  21. Okay, thought i'd seen some Glanzas with these dials fittted. Would indiglo dials fit?
  22. I mean just the fascia out of a GT that goes to 180 to put over the one in my Glanza now.
  23. Not keen on the TE37 cup. I was thinking bronze too! I quite like the Team Dynamics pro race 3's.
