Had a great day out at Japfest yesterday, great to meet you guys and see your cars, some real stunners, and I have to say the Starlets really growing on me! a big thank you to Jo, Enzo for getting everyone together and cars etc for us to take a few photos, and thanks to those guys whos cars we lined up, and all those who stood around for the photos! You guys are our first CLUB PROFILE, which means in the first issue there's a double page spread with the big group photo I took, some individual shots/group shots of cars we took while wandering around your stand, and a bit of background about the club. We look forward to seeing you guys at more events throughout the year, and featuring some quality starlets in Toyota Performance Magazine

Sorting out the distributorship to get into the newsagent chain is a total nightmare, and is something that is ongoing for the future, we're going to start off subscription/individual copy purchase through our website for the first few issues. Individual issue order:- http://toyotaperformancemagazine.com/forum...3-Current-Issue Or subscribe for the first year (6 issues, we're bi-monthly) http://toyotaperformancemagazine.com/forum...e-Subscriptions

Stunning guys, keep them coming, looking forward to meeting a few of you at Japfest this Saturday too
-
Wow guys, I can see that you lot are going to be keeping us here at TPM very busy, we're not going to run out of tasty Starlets to feature anytime soon that is for sure... keep them coming here, and also fill out our feature requst form that you can find in the top menu of our website www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com
-
Thanks again guys
-
Looking good Ryan Please do keep them coming guys
-
Wow guys, we're overwhelmed with the great response, and you've some stunning Starlets that it goes without saying that we'd like to feature, keep em coming guys, and also head over to our website www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com and fill out our feature request form, so that we have all the spec/details on file to follow up! Looking forward to meeting you all at Jap Fest
-
Cheers guys!! and yeah Jo, its the first issue that you guys are going to be in!
-
Thanks guys! Initially the mag is available through our website www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com on an individual basis or as a subscription, and we've already had an astounding amount of subscriptions to date. We are intending to take the magazine to the newstands but this will come at a later date, as its a lengthy process dealing with distributors etc, and we simply can't set this up in time for our first issue launch. We're also potentially looking to increase the magazine from bi-monthly to monthly after the first year. We have another magazine www.mr2only.com that we've published for the last 3 years that has quite a good following, we've only ever had MR2 Only as subscription based, as being model specific its quite niche, but we feel that Toyota Performance Magazine would stand on the newsagent shelves as good as the rest of em!
-
Wow guys, impressive, I can see you lot are going to be keeping us busy also, we're not opposed tp doing duo features or even a group feature sometimes, infact we're doing something similar for 3 big powered Supras located down South for the 2nd issue! Keep em coming both here, and via our feature request on our website www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com
-
Cheers guys!! see you at Japfest
-
I'm sure we will Gaz! I'm loving the Starlets I've seen posted on our website, and on this club forum, looking forward to Japfest to see more of your cars!
-
Hey Jason, firstly thanks for subscribing! I had actually spotted your kit car, and its on my 'follow up' list, as engineering wise it is a Toyota, its something we'd certainly be interest in for a future issue, as its a bit of a different angle! so do keep us posted of your progress!!
-
Great start David!! thanks for the piccie, looks a stunner, please do fill out our feature request on our website, certainly one we'd be interested in
-
Although we've already chosen all of our featured Toyotas for the very first issue of Toyota Performance Magazine, we're very keen to keep the momentum going for future issues, with a file of feature cars lined up in advance, so if you feel like your car/project has what it takes for a mag feature, then please either post just 1 of your best pics here, or visit our website www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com and fill in our feature request form which can be found at the main header at the top. We'll also be at most of the Japanese car shows throughout the summer, mingling with the Toyota Masses, a great time for us to talent spot potential feature cars, as well as meet you guys, and get your feedback and comments about what you'd like to see in Toyota Performance Magazine.
-
We're currently working away on issue 1 of Toyota Performance Magazine with our anticipated launch date being end of May, early June, and what's more you guys are actually our first profiled owners club, so there'll be a double page spread on you in the first issue! we'll be taking photos at Japfest on May 15th for the feature. We also have featured Kristians impressive PP powered Starlet in the first issue, and there's lots more to come throughout the year. Weâ??d like to take this opportunity to introduce an all new and exciting publication dedicated purely to all Toyota badged Performance Carsâ?¦ TOYOTA PERFORMANCE MAGAZINEâ?¦â?¦. Whilst Toyota Performance Magazine is an all new and exciting publication, we're not exactly new to magazine publishing or indeed Toyotas, weâ??re the guys behind the worldwide successful MR2 Only Magazine, a bi-monthly magazine put together by an independent publishing company made up of a group of like minded Toyota owning enthusiasts. We've taken much of what we have learned from our 3 years publishing MR2 ONLY MAGAZINE and will be applying it to TOYOTA PERFORMANCE MAGAZINE, which shares the same ethos, being very much owners club focussed, whilst being put together by genuine Toyota owner enthusiasts/owners with a passion for the cars we own, and the publications we bring to you our readers. Toyota Performance Magazine will feature performance Toyotas past, present and future, from the cult classic 70â??s Corollas, MR2's, Corollas, AE86, Celicas, Supras, Startlets, Glanzas, modified Toyota Trucks, right up to modern day T-Sport Toyotas such as Corollas, Yarisâ??s, Lexusâ??s and indeed any performance cars Toyota unveils in the future. Weâ??ll be featuring Toyotas from clubs all around the world, to showcase varying styling trends and tuning as well as regularly covering shows, meets and events, projects and technical articles, as well as Toyotas competing in motorsport. Weâ??re currently looking for performance Toyotas to feature in our very first issue and subsequent issues, so if you feel like your Starlet measures up, please by all means email the editor with a little info, and some photos, or fill out our feature car request on our website. Weâ??re both excited and very grateful to collaborate with the UK Starlet Club, pledging their support for our new publication, and we look forward to meeting you all at this years shows, and hopefully featuring many of your cars in the future. Thanks for reading... Sorry guys, not had the chance to catch up this week or so, we've not disappeared! it's production deadline on our sister magazine 'MR2 Only Magazine' so burning the midnight oil! Our feature cars for the first issue have been chosen, and the owners are being contacted so that we can arrange photoshoots and writeups. hi guys, the cover is only hyperthetical at this stage, and is subject to change once we've done our photoshoots, the photos shown we've had permission to use for a mock up, and embarrasingly we've actually or I've actually slipped up with the Starlet on the cover! wrong title to that particular pic hence the confusion caused, although that particular one will be featured in a future issue. Its a Starlet from here that is being featured that is more in keeping with the title, but more details will follow soon :0) There will also be another pleasant suprise for UKSC members in the first issue, all will be revealed soon! -

A quick update from Toyota Performance Magazine... Firstly many thanks for all of your kind comments and words of support for our new ALL TOYOTA magazine, and for all of those of you that have taken the time to introduce yourselfs on our website, and more importantly those that have filled out our feature request or even subscribed. We've been overwhelmed with the feedback and support so far from the majority of the Toyota owners clubs we have contacted, and many Toyota specialist tuners/traders have already committed their support with advertising for the first and future issues of the printed magazine. Toyota GB themselves have backed the publication and will be working closely with us on future performance Toyota models (ooh FT-86 First drive!!) and general Toyota news and press releases. My editorial team colleagues and I are planning a feature selection meet later this week to wade through the many exciting feature requests we have received to date, which is fair to say that most will be featured at some point throughout the year in TPM, once we've shortlisted the first issue we will contact owners directly to follow up for writing the features and planning organising photos/photoshoots etc. As TPM aims to be very much club focussed and wil carry a club section in each issue we will always be keen to hear about your club events, meets, dyno days, exciting new builds also each month a Toyota model club of the month will be highlighted as a main club profile feature, so please do keep us updated of club news. Once we have the features for the first issue underway we'll be announcing our launch date for the first issue, so not all that long to wait now! In the meantime please do keep your short intros coming, photos to pimp yourToyota rides on our website, and for those of you who have a Toyota we'd be interested in featuring please fill out or feature request form at the top of the website. http://www.toyotaperformancemagazine.com If you have any ideas/suggestions or even have something to bring to the TPM team you can pm me here, or email me/message through our website. We're looking forward to bringing your first installment of Toyota Performance Magazine to you soon, and meeting you guys and your cars at Jap meets throughout the summer.
