Hi guys, will someone please explain to me what's the deal with Hks ssqv dump valves as some genuine ones on eBay are like 200 quid the. You get these other "limited edition black" ones at like 80 these say they are genuine? I am a bit confused with these,,,,anyone own one of these or got further info on them? If they are copy's the surely it would be illegal? Thanks.

Just to let everyone know I have since solved this issue, the blitz was and is absolutely fine! It was a vac line,,,,, lol sometimes it's worth Tripple checking things

Not hard thb mate there is a tutorial on here or tgtt on how to remove aircon after that the bends and air filter bolt directly on to the the turbo it's a lot better sound!! Can really hear the air sucking in! It does encourage boost creep tho so i ported my waste gate at the same time to solve it

hi mate, i have took it apart tonight and gave it a good clean and re grease, i am seeing 11 psi which i set on my actuator untill i turn it up, dont think there is any air leak while driving just the noise of the fmic and the front mounted filter sucking all the air in will put it back on tommorow and let everyone know am seeing my mate tomoz so i will borrow one of his and try that one too, i can press the piston back in - like you said its farly hard to push in with my finger

by the way thanks for the replys everyone,, I forgot to mention that does anyone know about the pistons on blitz dd dump valves? It does move but it's kinda stiff....you have to give it a bit of force with your finger to move it, are they meant to move freely or meant to be kind of stiff? Gracias

Hi mate I did have a very very small split in the pipe running to the inlet mani from the dump valve so I replaced it all and I thought that would of cured it but to no avail,, think my mate has a spare dump valve off his rs turbo so I might whiz round his in a bit and ask him see if that helps lol this one has really got me stumped P.s thanks for the pic lol, small world I found it on google!

Hi mate for the moment I have it set to 11 psi my boost gauge is reading -20 at standstill which it was doing before and the car really seems to be boosting fine tbh just a little more lag but I think that's due to the fmic worth it tho

Hi matey, yeah the next day I got under the car and have double checked since that all the piping is ok and all the clamps are tightened as I got paranoid about hoses blowing off lol all is as it was when I put it on

hi guys, hope everyone had a good a christmas as i did!! anyways, before christmas i fitted a fmic and i have put the dump valve back in the same position it was before (kinda whats shows in the picture) not my pic but its the same......anyways my blitz bov now refuses to dump and i get a lot of chatter (which sounds nice lol) i have had my dump valve off, cleaned it and made sure the piston was not sticking, i have checked all the pipes and the pipe to the inlet mani is still sucking air in...........bit stumped now as i really cant figure out why it is not workin! anyone else had this proble

hi mate, as i am in the building trade i was able to get a roof support bar (not very haeavy at all but very very strong about 5mm thick) so i cut it with angle grinder and drilled the holes out and it sits neat as you like and is a hell of a lot stronger than that thing toyota give you ;)

hi guys, well the board keeps playing up so here is my original post, i fitted a fmic and took my blitz dump valve off, the obttom of the dump valve is flat so i need that connector thingy that you can attach some silicone hose to and re-attach it anyone on here sell them or is it a case of checking the classifieds? thanks matt.

cheers man! cleared that right up i thought i had messed the bonnet latch up! cool, well i got a bolt thats broke off in the bottom of the brace in the chassis bar so i will drill that out later and use a tap and die set to re cut the threads and put it back on, cheers fella!

hi guys, well fitted a fmic to ym car and i re attached the bonnet latch up nice n tight but now the bonnet wont close its a ba*tard! BUT..............i did take that brace thing that goes from the latch down to the chassis bar off (i did not think taking that off would do anything to be honest as its as flimsy as they come and made of bloody tinfoil - is this needed to make sure it shuts right so it locks in? or could it be something else like the latch being f*cked? i am gonna go underneath today and have a look, any thoughts anyone? thanks all - mat

hi guys, well i fitted a fmic yesterday and OHHHHHH MY GOD!! the noise!!! bought a massive smile to my face it is f*cking sexual!! but, me being silly as it was going dark forgot to tighten up properly one of the clamps and had a pipe blow off when i was coming home (i got the pipe back undamaged so i can put everything striagh back on thanks to a bloke in a vxr that stopped behind me and helped and chatted with me for 15 mins) so i will be tightening them all up very very tight today................. will it all be okay with the miklar clamps tightened up>> or is it usually best to put

i agree with marc, is there anyone that known or possible could have seen you storing that stuff in there, i will keep my eyes and ears peeled for ya mate and hope you find it all!! p.s might be worth checking ebay before and after christmas if you have no luck, gutted for you dude! hope you catch the little cock sucking dirty little anus wrenching little fuckers!!!
