  1. Only advice i can give is make sire the blue ends are swiveled out, and you are still using the spacer for the seatbelt runners. without the spacers it will sit to close to the body so won't reach across. I think it was only wound out about half on mine so can't see how it is all the way out and still to short on yours :/

  5. Cheers mate, Jump started it, runs but a bit rough. Starts fine when warm :/ Changed the plugs but still running rough, dizzy has seen better days so going to replace that. If that doest cure it will change leads
  6. Hi Please i hope someone can help me. Using my car yesterday no problems, was leaving my mates and the car started fine and warmed up on, as i was driving away it started to hop, like i was in the wrong gear, then let out an almighty bang, so i pulled over and it was idling at 2k-2.5k. So switched it off and pulled it in somewhere safe, now when you turn the ignision on there is nothing. all electrics work, fuel pump primes, but nothing from the engine, no starter no attempt to tick over. There is still oil in the engine so it hasn't let it all go. Anyone have idea whats wrong, my car is
  7. I'm replacing my cylinder head hopefully at the weekend, what is the correct tourque setting for the head bolts?
  8. Basiclly there goosed. Thought it was the Turbo oil seals but turbo is spot on. So can only be valve stem seals. The problem i'm having is finding just the seals, i can find a full gasket set no probs, but i don't need everything. So can someone point me in the right direction. Also would you assume a forged motor will already be running a metal head gasket? If not best place to get one, i understand going bigger than 1.2mm i need ARP head studs too Cheers in advance guys and gals
  9. I have unknown make of manifold. Turbo is getting changed on friday so i've got just got some heavy duty ones for now
  10. Are they meant to have nuts on them :S I have 3 bolts and apprently 2 are 13mm head and 1 is a 14mm head I dunno what thread i need though can anyone point me in the right direction? Link to someone who sells them, or is it possible to use screw fix or the likes?
  11. Hi Guys. What bolts do i need for the manifold to turbo. One of them is missing and i am changing the turbo anyway. so will need all 4, i have no idea on lengh or thread. Thanks
  12. Yer it has a checkered roof, will it did it's all peeling now. Can't afford the TD04 setup yet so just getting a standard CT9 for now til i can save up for the parts for the TD04 as thats my plan anyway. Did someone say videos?
  13. I'm glad people know this car, the receipts i have are from 2005 when it had new pistons and then a new engine, so the rest of the mods i'd like to know if they have been done or not?
  14. Hi Everyone, I'm new here and new to the starlet scene. Ownered a few different cars but this is my first dabble in the Jap Turbo field, so far it's been fun. Not been an easy start though, got the car to discover, oil seals in turbo are gone, crack in the manifold, down pipe and exhaust houseing on the block Anyway the car And what has apprently been done, but i dont have receipts for all the work only some of it, so i was hoping someone on here could help me out Mods:- Wiseco Low Compression 74mm Forge Pistons.
