  1. Thanks, i'll give that a try tomorrow when it's light again I didn't want to start prying things off if there was a bolt i'd missed somwhere and ended up doing some damage
  2. I'm currently trying to get my GF's 1998 Starlet Sportif1.3 through it's MOT, and it failed on rear brakes imbalanced and ineffective I've bought the brake shoes, but i can't for the life of me see how to remove the actual drum All i can see is 2 10mm bolts on the back that seem to hold the brake pipe in place, then a rubber grommet just below it Cheers Rich
  3. I've just checked and found the sensor, but mine is a 1 wire sensor, i only seem to be able to find 2 wire ones........... any help please
  4. Cheers for that Are there any traders on here who sell them (sorry i'm new here) No symptoms, just the yellow engine light has come on EDIT: Just found one on Camskill, but the only list it as up to 05/1997, my GF's car is a 1998 http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m19b0s1301p48340
  5. Hi, i joined up recently asking about how to check error codes on my girlfriends Starlet (1998 1.3 N/A) Well i checked the codes and got error code 22, this indicates CTS error I think this is something to do with Coolant Temp Sensor, other than that i am now lost as to how to resolve the problem Any help would be appreciated Cheers Rich
  6. Hi, i'm new here, but i was referred here from the Celica Club UK (my main car is a Gen 5 Celica), but my girlfried has an EP91 Starlet, the engine check light has just come on, so my question is what should i be looking for as to why it is now illuminated I'm pretty handy when it comes to cars, but i just need a nudge in the right direction really as to where and what to look at, also is there any sort of diagnostic port on the EP91, i know on the Celice there are some pins that can be shorted to give an code that flashes the check light Many thanks Rich
