hi guys need a little help. im wiring in a greedy fatt2 turbo timer in with the proper connection harness. I've wires the brown wire to the hand brake and the black wire is earthed but i cant find the speed signal wire now do i have to have it wired in or dont i and one more thing i mite sound like a bit of a mong but i cant get the turbo timer to countdown does anyone know where im going wrong? thanks nino

to be honest mate you dont realy need 1 they are all for show. as long as the turbo gets between a 1 to 2 min at idle to cool down then that will do the same as a turbo timer. i have no solotion for your problem other than 1) take the turbo timer out 2) disconnect the central locking 3) sit the the car and extra 5 min and let it cool down while your in it. ither way good luck.

can i suggest one more thing u mite be suffering from bottem end oil starvation. i had the exact same problem which lead to my big end shells going and piston rings. my suggestion is drain off the oil take off the sump and check the oil pick up feed because mine got covered in a thick like skum like film and as soon as we wiped it my mate got a gob full of oil and quite alot of oil came out from the top of the engine where it had be cuircalating so it may be werth checking.

hi everyone, think i sould get down to the problem. rite im basicaly in the middle of an engine rebuild and im fitting a thicker head gasket, regrinding the crank the full shabang. the problem i got is the head bolts. i want to uprate the head bolts but dont want to tap and die the block and heads and dont want to spend stupid money. can you suggest what head bolts and where i can get them from (website would be easyer). or would i be better off getting standard toyota head bolts bearing in mind im going to be running high ish boostage. any advise would be greatful thanks

hi guys I've just fitted a hks acuator like the guy above and i got a spare vacum hose that origanl went to the old acuator and back to a small square box (on the drivers side quite close to the strut) and a second pipe running off some where. is that the little box im suppost to take off went i uprate the actuator. i have an ep82 if that helps.

hi everyone, i am in urgent need of help, the seal or bush wot ever you want to call it around the piston on the caliper is F**ked on the rear passenger side and i have heard that u can get rebuild kit for the brake caliper does anyone know for a website, or my second choice would be does anyone have a rear passanger brake caliper in good working order and dosent have any perished seals or gaskets going cheap. thank you nino p.s its for a toyota starlet gt turbo ep82 non abs 1995

but it was happening on warm days 2? to be honest mate that dont sound wright not being funny or anything. on the standerd boost gauge in the car when is problem happend the boost gauge dosent move nor the rev counter so does that narw down the problem?

I've got a decat, nur spec exhust and an uprated fuel pump. wot could i do to sort the problem out? thanks for the info you givin so far

I've basiclly own my ep82 for 3 to 4 months now and when i first had the car it was running mint then about a month ago it developed somthing like an engine stutter or stall or somthing. basiclly whats happening is when accelerating hard 1st and 2nd gear are fine but 3rd 4th and 5th have this stutter all stall between 5 and 7 thousand rpm it fells like the engine is pauses for a split second and does it 2 or 3 times better 5 and 7 thousand, theres no drop in rpm or the boost gauge dosent drop. can any one help
