Erm well its a reeealy old turbo in terms of design and general age, they where used on the JDM Legacy RS between 89-93.

Not really meant for big power and will produce no more then a modern mapped TD04 imo. I would defiantly get a 16G over the VF12. you can pick up a good condition Subaru 16G with the bend on the intake housing still there which i think is handy as you can run a front mount filter right from the turbo.

A good Google search will probs bring up alot more then my vague knowledge will tell you

I searched nd was basically tho the same swapped it for a td05 16g anyway

what are these turbos like . what boost can they hold . might swap it with a td05 16 g as i was ment to get one instead of this

Hello lads swapping a diff fromt one gearbox to another as the third gear is on the way out, im using a guide off toyotagtturbo to do it , do i just drop the diff in r is it best i get a company to do it , its a cucso 1.5 way

ive got that and my realese bearing is the standard gt one mate.

Can u hear the release bearing hitting off the pressure plate when engaged ? also does your make a grinding noise on idle

Bought one of these kite second hand , do i need a special os release bearing for it

Boost leak r something

I was getting full boost at 2800 on the gen 2 speedvision hybrid turbo

Right i tuck off the back stickers , great idea the back looks so much more clean

Someone scrapped the front bumper on me aswell . Also wont be getting the toms bumper , Have a laguna splitter here but its been done to death in this place so i dont wanna put it on . Its nice to have a car you dont have to crawl across speed ramps

Car now has 98 spec rear light and a kakimoto exhaust system was dyno'd last week

213 bhp and 186 at the wheels

Have a deposit put down on a forged engine doing that 2moro going to go td05 16 r 18 g and getting better management hoping for over 280 bhp and then saving for a diff and cage

Update Parts i have so far,

HDI FMIC

Spotless headlights no fade at all

Clear indicator lenses

Headlight eyelids will be sprayed black with bumper

NGK sparkplugs and uprated fuel pump

Ok we got on the intercooler ,Cut most of the bumper to fit it , i like what we done but i dont think u guys will ..... hahha Didnt get to service it cuz the corolla bumper was a nightmare to fit bk on .

Fmic fitted no bumper, fitted lenses, and headlights which are not focused yet !

fitted bumper which was cut heavy may go for carbon culture one in a while

the hole bottom of bumper is cut up to where the pipes go bk into the car, i like it more pics to come in a few days in the day !

Replaced the sump gasket .

Fitted the hks bov

Replaced spark plugs

New oil

New oil filter

Fitted the boost gauge

Fitted pillar pod

Car is boosting perfectly and holding the boost solid.
