Can you not seal is using instant gasket or something similar? The engine sump doesn't have a gasket, maybe the Auto gearbox doesn't have one either.

Hmm, don't know. Will ask Phil what he thinks. When I got the car, in the boot was a load of new gaskets so I'll see if he can work out what they're for

Good news is that my wheel wobble is sorted after the correct spiggot rings were fitted and wheels rebalanced. My mechanic looked over the car today, needs new brakes which I new it would, but he also said it needs one of the above.

Any suggestions as to where I can get hold of one of these?

what does the engine temp do when its running? does it get warm or always stay cold?

It gets warmm gradually but sometimes goes down. It goes up when sat in neutral but sometimes goes down when im just doing general driving.

Get an air line and a rag and blow the matrix out... My "Heating" was cold and just by doing Im cooooooooooookkkkinggg!

How do you do that?

from cold take your rad cap off, turn your heater to the hottest setting, start the engine and top up the rad, let it warm up with the rad cap off and that should expell any air in the system mate

Cheers. I changed the coolant at the weekend and it seemed a touch warmer. Just not sure if the thermostat is duff

Mine neither, take it over 60mph and it shakes like a shitting dog lol! My boyfriend's serviced it this weekend tho and done a coolant flush, so hopefully once we've sorted the wheel wobble and the lack of heat in the cabin, she'll be sweet!

They are nice cars the civic. How much you selling it for? Do you know which spark plugs I should buy? I've looked at the iridium ones but not sure which heat range to go for. The car is more or less standard.

Whats the difference in the grades of spark plugs? Is it if you have aftermarket turbos or turn the boost up etc.would ones from ebay be ok?

as for what glanza it is we kind of do need pictures for that ;)

Hello all. I bought Tuesday and have already give it a service. I have a few question

Which type of Glanza is mine? The reason I ask is im looking to buy some iridium spark plugs, just not sure which type to order.

Also with most of the Glanzas I presume their is two modes for the turbo. Im just wondering which button does what?

The manu and power button

Lastly their is a button in japanese on the auto box in red so I have no idea what it means.
