Cheers liam, will have some good updates coming when i get it back from racetech in a few weeks.
-
was pretty straight forward to be honest mate, there were a few awkward bits and having the drive-shaft still in didn't help LOL
-
small update: had a bit of spare time on my hands this weekend so took my LSD box into work to paint before its installed next week. i gave it a good clean with the steam cleaner, one coat of primer and two top coats. i'm really pleased with the result and wasn't expecting it to look as good as it does.

Cheers Liam might even be going bigger spec if the bank allows lol. Thanks, ive still got a few thinhs i wanna do to the bay before the shows so hopefully will look even better ;)
-
thanks alot, really appreciate it

They certainly are testing lol. Once engine is finished im gunna try and smarten the exterior up a little ready for some shows this year. Agree mate their kits are top quality and would recomend to anyone.
-
Cheers Lewis, with the engine problems i had at the start i was thinking on giving in but my mate made me carry on and it will be worth it when i drive it out of racetech all finished
-
Yeah, not sure why wepr designed it like that. Ricky at racetech was asking the same question yesterday and we were discussing the possibility of moving it.
-
cheers mate, looking for 300+ not sure on exact figures yet cheers, really appreciate it with the hard work thats gone into it ha cant beat the orange once ive had it mapped and ive saved up a bit im gunna get the ancillary kit from there too, its real quality kit. cheers for the comments guys.

Ive not discussed with ricky what boost to run as yet, i was down there yesterday just to confirm dates. From what ive been told looking 300+ but ill see what it produces on the day and see if theres anything else i can do to get more gains.

its in my car still lol, been having issues with the bolt that connects to the engine mount so its not on 100% yet. cheers for the comment

Finally found the time to put a build thread together so this is the story so far:- i had been looking for a nice clean glanza to have as a weekend project car. After months of searching and searching i came across a tidy example so had to see it in person after driving 320 miles to have a look and check it over i fell in love with it and had to have it. it came with a couple of mods:- Autobahn FMIC SS Manifold Decat HKS Actuator HKS Silent Hi Power Exhaust As the rear tyres were bald the guy also gave me a spare set of wheels with tyres The car obviously had its bad points too so once i got it home i purchased some KYB front shocks as the ones on it had started to leak and also purchased some uprated discs with yellowstuff pads. Luckily i have a friend who is a master technician at Toyota who let me bring my car in to Toyota and use one of their ramps to carry out the work . Once everything was fitted it was running like an absolute dream! but withing 3 months or so i the car just lost all power and broke down at on the motorway, i managed to tow the car to my friends house and after taking the cylinder head off we soon realised it was fried with hardly any compression and the head was badly warped So i started to look for a decent 4EFTE to do a straight swap, at the time i couldnt find a thing and was getting really frustrated with the time it was taking to get my car back on the road. but whilst i was looking for an engine i came across a low mileage 5E block, crank etc for sale at an absolute steal after consulting my friend at toyota he convinced me to go for the 5E & forge it and he would source the parts needed for it to be installed in my glanza. Once i recieved the block it was taken to toyota to be forged a couple of weeks later the work was done and the block was braught back to my house to drop into the bay, as i didnt have a cylinder head i purchased the head off my friend at Toyota's forged GT project. Once it was in and everything connected it fired up first time like a dream now that the car was mechanically sound i had to start gathering parts before mapping. Below are a few pics of mods i have put on the car:- And the current spec is as follows:- Engine Forged 5e Pistons Con rods ARP Head bolts Steel gasket Front mount intercooler Racetech intercooler core Roose motorsport orange vac lines Roose motorsport orange intercooler couplers Stainless steel intercooler clamps Greddy type S purple BOV Wepr manifold Wepr 3” down pipe heat wrapped Wepr wastegate relocator Racetech Custom Fabricated Screameer pipe Tial 38mm chrome wastegate Td05 ball bearing turbo OEM LSD Gearbox, Driveshafts & Gearbox mount. As above the unit will be ok but you will need a harness and mapping.
-
Hi mate how much for the tailgate struts and the black plastic mesh that sits on the top of the front bumper?
-
Ask iddy at id-workz on the traders section.
-
Very similar setup as mine ;) as above get a 3" custom exhaust and emu or standalone and should be sweet!
-
E-Manage blue setup, what do i need all together and cost.
Stroudy replied to Taggy's topic in Electronics
You usually get the odd emanage blue on here with harness between £200-£250 three bar map sensor is £50-70 new if i remember correctly. your best off ringin tuning developments up and getting a price to install and map and see if there is anything u are missing for your setup. -
Thanks for the help. At least i have some sort of idea now lol.

Does anyone know what type and size bolts are used to bolt the brace to the boot floor? As the one i got never came with them. Any help is really appreciated!
