I appreciate you guys getting back to me on this. Ive been doing the retail and warehouse job for like 3 years now and I think it's time to move on. Learn a skilled job. My dad is manager of a garage and that's where we do the work on my car, I seem to find myself there all the time and find everything really interesting and would also teach me things that I could then use on my own car in my spare time

Yeah, I guess I.T is going to be around forever now lol Its involved in the majority of jobs in some shape or form. I'm really looking to learn something in the motor industry though as its something I'm really interested in.

I'm thinking of going back to college in September to do a mechanics course. If I'm honest I did naff all at school apart from play football and dick about lol When I left school I just got a job in retail and now I work for a designer clothes website in the warehouse. I turn 21 march 20th and really want to sort myself out and go something im genuinely interested in. The only two things are football and cars lol. I tried to be a pro footballer but sadly got a serious injury at the age of 16. So I was just wondering if anyone could give me any info on a course you have been on or would recommend Cheers.

I have a sun roof in mine all electric. They have just a forward and backward switch and have a slide cover I think I'm right in saying that there usually hard to find glanza's with sun roofs but someone would need to confirm.

Its not like pouring out and none is leaking through when idle obviously. Just seems to be blowing bits out now and again. ill give the whole thing a clean and then check it daily and see how much is actually coming out. Cheers man

Hey guys. I seem to have noticed that my dump valve has started blow some oil through. Does anyone know the source of the problem and what could be causing this? Also after removing the air con, the oil breather pipe on the top of the rocker was not connected into anything?.. Does this need to go in somewhere? Any help would be appreciated, Cheers as always guys.

*** UPDATE *** Had the car in the garage today. Did a full service including some oil/engine treatment and fuel treatment too. Spark plugs came out all a nice sandy colour which is good Removed the air conditioning aswell and fitted the relocated air filter that I bought from Dean @ RW Developments A few pictures for you as I know you love them!!

Worst feeling in the world. Tbh I did nothing at school and didn't go to college. Just went into retail and just working in a warehouse:/ Thinking of doing something now as im 21 next month. Right so I've not been on here for a while as I've been mega busy sorting loads of things out at home and with work etc but Im back and ready to start doing some bits with the car. First of all, id like to apologize to anyone on here where I have show interest in something they have had for sale and then either had to drop out or not been in touch, Lots of things have been going on recently and its put a big halt on anything to do with the V So, I had my MOT and all was fine as my dad did it the only thing was that my passanger rear calliper was ceased. Fortunately for me I got a message on here from a member and picked up two rear callipers that are in great condition, there going on this weekend. Got some time in my dads garage this Saturday and got a few things that ill be doing: Full service Air Con removed Relocation filter fitted Callipers fitted ** I sold the mud flaps by the way guys!! I only really wanted them for the winter and as I never got round to fitting them, sold them on.***

Well, I'm bored as it gets at work and was just thinking what my day has in store for me and sadly for me the most exciting thing about my day is going to fill the tank up in the V Sad I know. Anyway, last weekend I went out with a few friends in one of their cars just for a drive and to get some awesome ice cream from Bonds in Elswick. I noticed that his fuel gauge said 0 miles. I did say to him that his fuel is like empty and he replied with 'it always says that its cool'. 10 mins later, dead!. No petrol -.- Have any of you guys ever ran out of petrol in a unfortunate circumstances or know of any funny stories?

Hey guys, So I read the Magical 200bhp thread that socks did and found it extremely helpful for what I want out of my V over time. However, it could just be me being blind but I wasn't sure what I would need to remove the air con. I have all the instructions printed and ready but what do I need to get before removing? I got the non power steering AC belt.. What else? Do I need something to block it off after its removed etc? Cheers guys.
