Hi all,
Are there any moderators available to help me sort my membership out? My membership has ran out and now when I put a years membership in my basket I get an error message which stops me purchasing it.
Many Thanks in Advance,

Have you tried getting the seized piston out yet? Might be best to do that first as they can be an absolute bitch if they're really seized. Would be pointless buying all the seals etc if you can't get the piston out...
I haven't tried yet to be honest but I do have a garage by my house so I could get assistance... What is the general procedure for a seized piston how do people normally get them out...

buy a second set of calipers , they are cheap as fook
Don't you think it would be worth buying the rebuild kit and sorting my callipers out so I have a decent set of brakes...? The kit is only £23...
worth noting n/a and turbo calipers are the same its only the carrier/disk/pad that differs
That's what I thought, thanks for the clarification I think I'm going to do the above and just rebuild mine, then get some uprated discs and pads when needed...
-
Hi All,
One of my calipers is binding so the piston has obviously seized... Its getting really hot after a drive and its almost on fire when I stop (smoking)...
Is it worth buying a rebuild kit for my standard n/a calipers or should I buy some glanza calipers...The rebuild kit is only £20 odd quid but buying the glanza calipers will cost allot more...
I do eventually want to put braided lines on and better disks and pads so not sure it is worth buying the bigger calipers for just for road use...
Dunno what to do...
Suggestions...?
-
Oh it sound's good...
Did a short vid of it with no exhaust and wow it was loud...
Sounds lovely now tho...have fitted the apexi now...will be over to see ya next Tue mate to pick up the deflectors and the spoiler...
happy days...
My front left caliper is stuck on now though and binding quite bad...nearly on fire lol... Am going to buy a rebuild kit and refurb em back to new...
-
Hi All,

-
I'm after the open filter mate... Is it the one for £40?
-
Hi All,
Does anybody know where I could source an Apexi air filter? I have been trying to get hold of one for week's. I want a brand new one so no second hand offers please... I also need it to have the adapter plate on the back. This is proving a real headache now and I just want to get it sorted...
PLEASE HELP, SOMEONE MUST KNOW A SUPPLIER!!!
-
I know mate... I can't wait to get all the jobs done and give it one hell of a clean and get some shot in the sun (fingers crossed)...
-
Clutch has just gone...
Ordered an Exedy clutch kit from ID-Workz...
Hopefully getting it fitted along with my cat back stainless, Apexi induction kit from RW-Developments and my wind deflectors from Rich-k next week...
Can't wait...
-
Cheers mate, I live in Llanfair Pg so yea not far...My exhaust is built by Sean Hibbs yea...He is awesome at what he does
Gonna get a little de-cat section made up as soon as I got some spare cash...
-
Hi All,
Its been a while since my last post and there's not allot to report... The car has had another service and the rear drums have been painted blue...I will post some before and after pics once the car has been cleaned this week...Its also had a new dissy cap and rotor arm fitted...Although not much has been done there is some sight of progress coming next week...
I have bought an exhaust cutter so I can fit the stainless cat back system from my old starlet, and I am also trying to source an Apexi air filter with a 40 degree polished pipe from Dean at RW-Developments... Once they are both on I will upload some pics and possibly a little vid of it running...

What's the mileage on the engine and what sort of condition is it in mate?
