Need a gearbox for an ep82. My one was rebuilt supposedly I drove it 5 miles and it started to leak from the diff seal. Bought new seals and went to fit them to find the diff floats around all over the place and the casing has split open in loads of places around the driveshaft hole, obviously the shaft trying to beat its way out!!! Unfortunately it was rebuilt 2+ years ago and I never got it fitted or used till now!! So after a good turbo box with no crunches etc. Can arrange a courier or will collect if local enough (Dorset) Thanks

Ep70 axle. Ep82 has different length arms .

Std disks on the rear from a mk1 ep82. You have me worried now. Still got the 82 axle so am going to strip the disc off and remeasure it. Fronts are ebc drilled grooved with yellow stuff pads again with ep82 calipers.

I did measure and all matched up. Was a straight forward swap over

Thanks. They do set it off

The servo is physically bigger so pushes against the cable but it does make a massive difference to the brakes having the larger servo. You need to change one of the pipes to it as well from the gt as the position has moved. Its only a short pipe on bulkhead

No I was waiting for Andy for 3 months. Really annoying as did a deal with him and I had already done my bit of the deal. Win some lose some I suppose. Why were you not happy with yours??

Got it mapped at power engineering in uxbridge adam. Bored of waiting for the original person to arrange it to be done. Bloke called zak up there did it. Was impressed with him and his openness about mapping in general

Taxed it today and went for its first proper blast. Really impressed with it. Bit smokey when letting off the power. I presume turbo seals are past their best. Engine and turbo are both unknown quantities really so to be expected I suppose. I did bottle it at 120mph though it felt a bit twitchy!!!

Just having a reread through this. Didn't mention it is now running Omex 600 not standard ecu. I made the loom up for it all. ecu inside the car. battery in the boot. I got a lower arm bar and strut brace from TD for it.

Mot done yesterday and first drive in it to the mot. Real shame the weather is not good as it just spun up constantly. The brakes are good though. Get it cleaned up this week as its been in a dusty workshop now for nearly two years . Then I will put some more pics up
