ideal ive acheived 168.1 at 1.2 just wondering whether i can get more out of it

was just talking to a mate and he said about getting standard brakes of a bigger car could save me some cash and so the same thing? What brakes could i use off another car maybe a gt4 or mr2?

yes i realised they are rather expensive haha !! think ill be getting some 1144 pads or some yellow pads and then have to do some saving ! i got decent tyres all around got toyo proxes

never knew you could get uprated calipers to be honest could you give me a link to some mate?

you recon the grooved ones i have allready are better then the brembo ones of ebay when you say caliper do you just literally mean caliper what hold brake pads?

what sort of power output can a td04l turbo put out ? i thought around 270ish?

ok then mate ive got grooved disks on the front so you recon totally get rid of them , or get new pads and keep front disks ?

ive got different brakes on front grooved disks not too sure on what pads

nah its not smoking or anything turbo seems fine maybe i will have to weld it up then see what its like duno whether i can control when it boosts by the ebc , if that doesnt help ill check my i,c pipes

im running external wastegate yes mate and im not too sure whether the internal wastegate is welded shut as i havent had the turbo housing apart but the actuator bolt which i have a pic of at the top of the page is welded shut but still has some play isn't it! im controlling boost through a blitz electronic boost controller had a look through the "boost" settings on the actual ebc but i wasnt confident in changing anything as there was a few things i dont know what they do .

maybe i will have a fiddle with that before i drill or weld or start taking things off !

right i put a thread on another starlet forum but thought would post on here too im not hitting full boost until around 5500-6000 revs i have a forged ep82 running 1.2 bar and 268.1 bhp , got told when i bought it that for it too boost earlyer need to drill out where the old actuator was and put a bolt in it too close it properly? it has allready been welded but has a slight bit of play isn't it ! just wondering what you think i should do drill it out and put a bolt through ? or open up the turbo housing and weld the circular valve what the actuator controls shut ? i have no actuator by the wa

these things happen unfortunatley, absolutley gutted ! too say the least i was angry when i got out the car woops ! now on the look out for another
