1960 Plymouth Belvedere

Recommended Posts

Evening,

I'm unsure how successful posting this up will be, but we're at the stage we've even tried phoning Gas Monkey garage for advice.

My father in law owns a 1960 Plymouth Belvedere pictured below:

The rear brakes need replacing but they are composite rear drum brakes and therefore aren't the simplest of things to change, as in we can't get them off! My father in law spent £200 on a tool to remove them but broke the tool in the process and for them to still remain very much on!

Any ideas, tips anything to try and get these things off would be greatly appreciated. He has weddings coming up and it'd be an awful shame to let these people down.

Many thanks in advance, I appreciate its not your usual topic on ukso.
