idle hunting when hot

Just had my new oem head gasket put on after my athea gasket failed couple months back engine runs spot on until it gets hot starts to idle hunt any hints to what i should check all vacums are fine

map sensor first

then check icv and wax stat

map sensor seems fine tryed to adjust the tps with no luck will try the wax stat and ivc next cheers mate

Update on this issue when I Rev abou 2k it hiccups and hunts when I removed the Tps plug it stopped could it be the Tps is gone ? Or something else to look into? Cheers

tps disconnected will couse idling dificulties

when i remove my tps plug she stalls ( no icv or wax !! )

stick your finger in the hole of the tb and set your desired rpm if its steady then you know you found the culprit

Abit weird it becomes more responsive and the idle is better when removed. Will give that ago what shall I adjust the tps ? And what part of the tb appreciate your help

when you take the intercooler pipe of the tb and look in the tb ( flap closed ) you will see just before the flap a hole at the bottom thats the feed to the wax valve and icv

now to figure out if its wax or icv you bolt off the icv clamp the vacuim hose going to it with a plyers and finger over the hole on the mani

if it now idles fine its the icv if not then its the wax ( filler job )
