abbott Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 since my rebuild 2000miles ago ive had to change the front crank shaft oil seal twice as its leaves oil on the floor when i park up. any other ideas what could be causing this to keep leaking and what to check for? abbott Posted April 1, 2008 Author Share Posted April 1, 2008 yup, me too. i had to top the oil up after 500 miles. i think rob has got hold of some dodgey oil seals mate. maybe we should be onto him about sorting them out....yes mate we should but i supplied him with gen toyota seals. i got a mate to change the oil seal twice as rob doesnt have any where to do the seal or didnt know when he could do it. my guy thinks its the breather system and rob told me to try the prv thing so i will try that over the next week. but ive spent like £300 now getting this oil seal problem sorted and it should be under warrenty.
