Iwan-g-g
I'm just hoping someone can point me in the right direction with my glanza VA week ago my alternator belt snapped about 1.5 miles from my house, I drove it back slowly and temperature gauge rose to 3/4 up, I stopped and switched the engine for a few minutes, started it again and temperature dropped back to normal, so I drove it the remaining 200 meters home.I changed the belts and the oil the day after and since then the temperature is going up to 3/4 and the fan is not kicking in, I changed the thermostat and it wouldn't open, bottom of radiator was cold and top was hot, removed thermostat to try and it's still getting hot but fan still not kicking in, does anyone have any ideas what it could be ? I connected live straight to the fan and it works, brings the temperature straight down. But won't come on by itself. Thanks in advance
funny onion
Have you checked the single wire to the temp sensor on the thermostat housing?Could also be the relay?
Iwan-g-g
The wire seems fine, I don't know if it's the sensor itself, I tested the relay with a multimeter and again it seems okay
