castrojdlc77
A bit of context: I own a Toyota Starlet EP-90 from 1997 (the exact model by the manufacturer plate is EP90L-AHHNS). The car was imported directly from Japan, so the model does not fit with any of the usual brand names in UK (Soleil, Carat, Glanza, Reflet, etc.). It has an engine 2E with carburetor. Currently I need to replace one of the chokes in the carburetor (see picture below) but it has been impossible to find the correct part number. According to japan-parts.eu the number is 21679-11680, however this part looks different in the diagram compared with the picture. Can anyone explain me purpose of this choke? The name in the catalogue part is "Positioner" Any idea of why this part is different in my carburetor? Edited March 15, 2019 by castrojdlc77 typo
