MegstuBMW Posted March 27, 2020 Author Share Posted March 27, 2020 (edited) Just bought factory lsd gearbox and inspected by my self Here is some info: It is viscous lsd Actual lsd is mounted outside gearbox, that "extention" part. That is why right shaft is shorter than non-lsd one. This gearbox does not require lsd oil, because viscous lsd is seperate sealed unit with silicone fluid inside.
