whitestarlet Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 right lads got the gear box put into day and its the same, everything was fine its in and running now with a new clutch and crankshaft oil seal!! so im now back on the road again.big thanks too wee john!

whitestarlet Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 yeah i guess it would be mate! i have had no time to do it so had to get a mechanic to do it for me!im sure its only a case of removing the flywheel and putting it in he never mentioned removing the sump or anything!
dac69er Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 yeah. just wanted to know if it was a simple case of hook the hold one out. clean everything up a bit then stick the new one in!if i ever need to have my gearbox off i think ill get that seal done, just to be sure.
