MARCUSep91
just wondering as there is a 70 quid difference in the manifolds. is there a reason for this as in better fit/ gains etc ? plan is to buy one of these plus the actuator and up the boost a ted ,hopefully see a tad better performance. not going front mount intercooler at the moment as dont feel the need to spend the money on one yet.cheers chaps as ever much appreciated
StarletRick
you on about the toyotuning mild steel ones? if so, yes. mild steel > stainless
MARCUSep91
the normal coating one for around 270 quid ? think so. whats the main advantage over the to ? im guessing they both produce decent gains thanks for the help rick
StarletRick
mild steel can cope with heat better, and wont crack as easily. stainless steel needs to be warmed up and cooled down properly. most SS manis dont last a year before cracking, and japspeed stuff is hardly top of the range to begin with. MARCUSep91
lol another thing im guessing do you have to repalce the gaskets and studs when taking the old one of ? because i think the toytuning one doesnt come with gaskets were the jap one does. just trying to work out what exactly i need. also im not sure wether or not the have there own ones in stock lol have left emails on the sitecheers again
Glanza-Love
you dont need to but its always best to replace them. you can buy the gaskets from toyota matey!i deserves a rick pie
StarletRick
gaskets are about 8 quid from toyota. so its not too heavy on your wallet. and the studs will be fine mate. so dont worry about that.
