i bought one a while back that came off a silver glanza but it needed to be repaired a little but never got put back on the car and he sold it on. do the jam pieces have any markings like logo's etc?

Unless its been painted over or removed for some reason, the genuine body items have a little metal plate with JAM embossed on them, 2 rivets holding them on.

Bit like the chassis plate in youre engine bay but smaller.

Also the genuine ones are stronger because there made with a few extra layers of fiberglass and a better quality gelcoat.

You wouldnt notice the strength difference because at the end of the day there all fiberglass and if you smash it, it will shatter.

Only bad thing ive noticed with the replica kits is that, the replica rear bumpers havent got mounting holes that go underneath the boot shut to hold the middle of the bumper on.. Which makes them pretty much useless because you cant add any fiberglass because then it wouldnt sit flush with the boot shut.

there isnt any little plate on it but it is strong. the guy said a stone got put through it and it just made a hole and didnt shater so fingers crossed ive got a genuine one

only problem is now i want the rest of it :thumbsup:
