Rev counter help

My friend recently passed his driving test and has a 1.3 starlet sportif, he has no rev counter and keep complaining about it so were going to try get him one. Just wondering if anyone can point me to a how to or a tutorial thatll show me how to do it, there was one i think might have helped but the link was dead. I dont realy no my way around the starlet either although i have done some minor Mods to my Saxo, so any help would be Appreciated.
