Dean @RW-Developments
ok whilst coming back from spain a few days ago i hit a huge aray of dips in the road ever since the car shakes when speeding up or inbetween 40 mph and 70, bit weird i know, but i sent it to my local garage and theve diognosed it to be the differential bearings are fcuked causing the diff to move about?? now the gears are fine no problems the car still drives but shakes, now reli need to know where to go from here like if the bearings have gone is it likely the the diff will be fucked? can i just replace the bearings or will it be a whole new diff and gearbox. im gonna do the work myself so trying to keep the cost down, also how does the diff come out i carnt find a diagram anywhere do i have to split the gearbox?? any help appreacheatedthanks Dean
ToyotaTech15
im not sure where the problem would be from, but i do no that on the yaris boxes the input and output shaft has to come out before the diff will come out so im guessing that they wont be that much different, could be wrong thought but i cant get diagrams from my work as i am at college and im pretty sure we dont hav books on that boxGary
