Hi peeps new to the site!

Just wanted to get a few definate answers on the 5efe conversion,after reading some of the other topics there seems to be a lot of mixed view etc.I have a 97 sportif,am i right in saying that once i have the old 4efe engine removed all i need to do is fit the 5efe in its place with the 4efe loom and ecu and thats it??also i hear that the 5efe ecu cant be used due to the immobilizer?Will there be a noticable difference in performance with this conversion and would it be better again if i could some how make the 5efe ecu work with the immobilizer??

Welcome to the site.

All the existing info on the 5EFE has been already covered mate.

Some by myself as I have done the conversion. I didnt get my immobiliser to work with the 5e ecu but others have.

I'll be using another form of tunable engine management anyway so its OK for me.

After reading please ask anything in the threads if it hasnt been mentioned.

Its in N/A Engine Discussions. Please search on the forum first in future.

Search '5efe' and '5efhe'.
