help please

bought a gt from wrc. its meant to have been converted.

took it out today jus up n down my road. the clock went upto 60 but i defiantly weren't doing do that. seemed more like 30 maybe less.

how can i tell if its been converted?

any palces to look?

Use someones sat nav with speedo thing on? Could always go through a speed camera and see if it flashes

Theres a lot of difference between 60mph and 60kph especially in a starlet. Did you get to 60 in first gear? if you did that might be a clue

changes up at 4 thousand revs

My Glanza red lines at 60 MPH in second, stick yours in second and see what speed your doing just before the red line.

or be sensible and follow the spedo cable to the gear box. if its got a black box attached to the cable before it goes in to the gearbox its converted if it dosent have that it aint converted

Yup i do......one of the luxurys of the CD model as well as an electric sunroof (ask bourkey he seen my sunroof)

sorry to change topic.....but when is it best to change gear? a mate suggested 2-2.5k and i stuck to that....apart from 4-5th where i change at 3k (when she makes it)

For fuel economy the point where you change now

For speed I would say just 6k or just before

it so does my old cd was rev happy when u booted it. rember its jap not crap so it can take a fair old pounding
