AlexGTAdv
Hi guys, i have just bought a second hand HKS PFC F-con. Got it home and decided to plug it in to make sure it worked. I plugged it in, connected up the HKS map sensor provided with it and started it up. It started up immediatly but idle was really low, about 350-400, only just staying alive, and then when i revved it instead of coming back down idle it stalled. Also if i held it on revs i.e 3000rpm it sounded a bit ruff, burbley if ya get what i mean. I've got a GCC(Graphic Control Computer) with it also but dont know what the hell it does!? It smelt quite petroly as well. Does anyone know what the adjustment is on these?Cheers
AlexGTAdv
Ok, found out what is was! It was me being a prick! When i put the HKS map sensor in i just disconnected the old one and ive found out that i needed to splice it in so they are both connected which i have just done and its running like a dream now
Glanza_Ragger
You'll need to hook up a wideband gauge and exhaust gas temp gauge to set that PFC up correctly so theres no risk of detonation bud. With those 2 gauges its pretty simple to setup, the GCC allows you to fine tune each rpm band
