Just wonderin if anyone knows how to adjust the handbrake on a GT, mine's a mark 1. adam starlet87 Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 if you look through the gap where your handbrake goes into the centre console you will see a 10mm nut with a bolt coming through it. just get a deep socket and tighten it up clockwise. but not to much. then pull it on and a off a few times and make sure when its off you can still roll the car backwards and forwards.
