raymond
Hi peeps, had a problem with my de cat pipe (cracked at welds), i have gotten in touch with a company down south called blue flame, they are taking my car in this fri so they moc up a system, iam gonna tell them bout probs some people have with de cat pipes but was wondering if us would let me know if you wanted a certain style?? I was thinkin bout 4" slash cut tuneable back box but i would like it if it came out at an upswept kinda angle that you see on 200sx or evo.any comments appreciated
Glanza_Ragger
There generally angled like that because there directed as straight as possible from the engine. if you look underneath an evo the exhaust heads straight towards the turbo which is why its angled like that. The straighter and most direct route you can get the pipework made, the better the flow. But its all personal preferance as with all things
james gtt
personal opinion i like em straight rather than set at an angle but its up 2 you mate
klyfax
If the the downpipe is a 4" it doesn't matter if there is a angle... Just have to be a round turn, and not a sharp turn... sharp turns break a lot!
