Cambelt Due

Just wanted a quick bit of advise.

Cambelt is due to be changed, just want to check with others who have had it changed how much they paid, (if done by a mechanic)

I know a cambelt doesnt cost too much, but where best to get it from, so i can buy it myself instead of mechanic having to get it

Been quoted around £80. My machanic is pretty good on pricing , so wanted a bit of comparison

Motorfactors....get a Gates one there`s not a need to get the full kit unless upon inspection the idler/pulley needed replacing, as for price we would charge £50 on an N/A
