SCOOBY-MODDERS
The missfire and engine light comming on defo sound like your hitting fuel cut. You decated or removed the EFi pipe recently?

SCOOBY-MODDERS
EFi pipe - air inlet pipe to turbo. Also cold weather can cause boost spikes.
Sparky
Yup deffo hitting fuel cut, the decat is causing the problemIdeally you need a HKS actuator (holds boost better) and a boost controller of some sort. The EFI pipe is the pipe that goes to the airbox (top right hand side of the engine bay)

Sparky
It will be fine try resetting the ecu and it should run a bit better, if you got a boost gauge just keep an eye on the boost and back off before the cut

Sparky
Not as much damage if it wasnt there put it that way, just try to avoid it
SooperD
Yea sounds just like the problem i had.. Mine didnt even need a decat to hit fuel cut.. just bypassing the solenoid did it for me.As sparky said, new adjustable actuator and/or rrpfr and FCD should solve it
bucketep91
resetig the ecu did the trick might still be on the look out for a hks adjustable actuator tho, the standard 1s seen better days lolthanks sparky
