  1. I've got brushed hammerite on mine, never bibles or flaked. Just give the block a right good rub down and degrease before hand and it'll be grand!
  2. Iirc the stuff I used was called quiksteel. Got it from a motor factors. It won't fall off trust me!
  3. I used some chemical metal on mine a couple of months back. Good as new!
  4. I baught a key for my old Jdm scooby using the vin number. Cost me just under 100 quid.
  5. What! Another fucked engine? Fuck sake! Feel for you mate! What you going to do now?
  6. Dirty basterds! Hard to see in the pics but it just looks like a bit of traded paint. Looks like most of that will buff out.
  7. Funny Daniel my ep95 is ep9s too! Mines in the 40,000s! First date of registration was 1st of May 1999.
  8. A stronger diaphragm than the shite worn stock item. It'll build and hold boost a lot harder. There is a boost restrict in the hi/lo module that you can bypass to give you full boost in first and second just by looping over a wee pipe! But honestly do yourself a favour and rip it out. Low boost is for pussies! I've a mate like you, He decks all of his cars! He had a mk2 golf we used to call the snake. because it slid along anywhere it went on its belly haha!
  9. I'd just do away with the hi lo button. Doesn't make fuck all difference to your fuel consumption anyway. Control how much boost your using with your right foot if your that concerned. A HKS actuator will give you a noticeable gain at the same boost level ( if you do fit one you will lose the hi/lo button function) plus you can up the boost a little. Front mounted intercooler a can be got cheap now a days aswell Then make it lighter! That'll do you for a while at least
  10. I'm only there now and again for work and mostly in the van. I have quite a lot customers in mosspark If I see your car I'll give u a beep;) (assuming it's the one in your avatar?)
  11. I was there quite often in my old white Glanza. Dunno who's the White v is, I've seen it in thornliebank aswell. The boy with the ep95 was on here. Can't remember his name tho
  12. I was in moss park in my ep95 today but that's silver. I also seen a white one when I was there too?
  13. Don't touch anything aluminium! Recently had two snap and had to drill the basterds out!
  14. Kenny was a gent! Could spend hours there just talking about cars in general! After driving mine he said he said he wants one for rallying ,said it would be perfect for what he does! My car handles like nothing I've drivin now, I can't believe the difference! I spent ages just chatting away, he gave me some tips on what to do next to improve it and what he could do for me, even offered to have a go at making me a new farb (ep95 one is like a cheese string) and reckons he can modify my bc coilovers to lower the back end of my 4paw an extra 20mm! I can see myself spending a load of money at his
  15. Mind n grab the crystal out the ashtray before you get locked in haha
  16. I took a sump off an engine I thought was empty before haha! Spent the rest of the day cleaning my mates garage out! Ended up re levelling his floor and fitted some left over safety floor from a big job I done. Im his boss, so he couldn't moan too much but it worked out well for him haha!
  17. Vf35 with a plug and play! Have you had it checked? Wouldn't run a plug and play on a ct9 never mind a vf35. Madness!
  18. 7 is defo the fan switch, I recently changed it. My engine was from a mk3 gt 8 and 2 are for aircon.
  19. done most of those haha! I decided to convert my ep95 myself! That was defo one of those moments! Did the actual conversion in jig time then it sat unfinished needing trivial things for a few years! It still has wee issues after being on the road 6 months!
  20. Based on memory (will check later) 9 temp switch 8 aircon 7 fan switch 6 different temp switch (there are 3) 5 I've never seen? 4 could be another temp switch? 3 never seen? 2 same as 8? 1 don't know
