Matt Glanza
i fitted a blitz intercooler yesturday atm it hasnt got a dump valve fitted so that mite be the prob but the car only boosts to 0.7bar now.do i need to adjust the actuator to compensate for the extra pipe work etc thanks
jam-ep
check for leaks, could be a clip loose? just check everything. what turbo are you using? im sure you will have a slight pressure drop due to the size of the cooler and the extra pipework
Glanza_cl
if the boost goes to 0.7 and stays at 0.7 then it's fine just give the actuator a twist or two inwards...if the boost goes to 0.7 then dies of a bit you get a boost leak.

Matt Glanza
just taken it out for a blast it does go to 0.7 then works its way up to .95 but drops off slightly that could be due to having no dump valve fitted.will do ben more work to do this weekend if your up for it?haha
Glanza_cl
so what exactly is the problem? lol, 0.95 did you not hit fuel cut? your getting boost creep and that's kinds expected after fitting a fmic.sounds like it boosting fine buddy, could give the actuator another twist but that will mean you will hit fuel cut.next on the list is either an ebc, or port the wastgate to prevent the creep so you can up the boost. Matt Glanza
there isnt it was just slower getting up there and havnt been giving it beans due to no dump valve.i have a blitz acess ecu so no fuel cut!
Glanza_cl
ahhh got ya lol, well in theory with the longer pipe work it might induce a bit more lag then a top mount but saying your car has lag with a ct9 is silly lol as the spool up time is so quick.if the boost is holding strong and not dropping off i cant imagine there is much to worry about mayb reset the blitz access to adapt to the slightly cooler intake temp, doing that might see the pick up it had before.running no dump valve will be fine, give it all the beans you like
