Just double triple checked.. its perfectly fine.. and its meant to be blocked!!! as water doesnt go into the inlet mani lol.

the 91 doesnt have the bit to block.. where as the 82 does im all good

What i think wullie is saying is there is water pumped underneath the mani to give some heat to air entering the chamber.

like in some corsas you see a pipe coming from the exhaust mani to the induction box to give heat to the air entering the chamber for better cold starts.

The water isn't obviously entering the inlet mani ports but it does go to the inlet and conducts the heat in the chambers.
