Hi, I'm new hear and I have just aquired a Starlet, L reg but only 70,000 miles from new. It has been running well but today I went out and noticed it was revving when I stopped at some lights. I came home and had a look under the bonnet but all looked ok. Then it occured to me that the choke could be sticking on. I let it cool and it was ok when I started it but after a short drive, about a mile or so it was revving again. Could anyone tell me what the problem is or how to cure it. Could I disconnect the choke when the engine gets warmed up or is there a cheap fix for this. Funds are a bit low at the moment. Thanks in advance for any help.
