GT Phayer Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 could this be a cv joint ????? Quote
Shahzad Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I had a similar problem on my starlet. One of my brake pad retaining clips was missing, which caused the pad to rattle against the calliper.Take your wheel off and have a look at your brakes.Hope this helps. Shahzad Quote
GT Phayer Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 ok cheers the wheel bearings are fine it doesnt do it all the time though ;) Quote
andy.i Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 check the top nut on the suspesion is tight, thats what caused mine Quote
GT Phayer Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 yer everything is tight its sounds like its coming from directly behind the wheel Quote
EN V Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 ok to eliminate the pads rattling try and recreate the rattle on a perticuler bump/hump and then try it with your foot slightly on the brakesif it stops then its pad rattle like Shahzad says Quote
