glanza97
About to put my new engine together and just had a question about running in. Now I heard you use a cheap mineral oil while running in to get everything in a nice thick coating. 10w40 Mineral? Can you just buy some cheap stuff from asda or morrisons or something? EN V
personally i think the running in of an engine is the most vital part so i would use a good oil and chance it after 1000 milesalso try and get a magnetic sump plug as this will catch most of the sworf better than it clogging up an oil channel
