200sx-Starlet-Jay Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 got a new boost controller, today from JAPAN and just want to clarify how its plugs up. ive got the boost controller, which plugs into the solenoid, the same loom has a black and a red wire spare, which i assume is live and earth. there is a vaccum pipe on the back of the controll box. does this go to the IN or the OUT on the solenoid? im guessing IN from the turbo feed, then OUT up to the controll box. am i right?Jay Quote

Kennedy Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Just though the vacum on the back of the controller is for boost guage function..so just hook it up as a guage from the vacum pipe not to the solonoid. Quote
RobSR Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 ^ yup as Kennedy said.. IN & OUT is for actuator and turbo housing Quote
200sx-Starlet-Jay Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 cheers guys, so to clarify one thing cuz i think ive read it 2 times different now, the vaccum pipe on the back of the controller unit, is that for a boost gauge or is it to go to a vacuum feed. whats it for?Jay Quote
Kennedy Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 ^^it acts like a guageI don't think it works without it either Quote
