chr15_7_t_ Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 had a problem with my car i couldnt tel you what it is but il tel you wat it is doing...it wont idle after i took it out for a wee drive(1/4mile)..but before i took it out it was idling away fine after i had put the new leads on and it was idling for about 5 minutes before i took it outwhen it died after not idling it wouldnt start and the battery was flat..i must add that the car hass been siting in my garage the past week so i had to jump start it off another car.. and when i took the screws out of the battery i could only see sum water in one o the battery resevoirs...from about 2,500rpm when i was driven it when i put my foot down a wee bit ther was a noise like a realy loud what i could only describe as tapity but this dosnt hapen when the car is not driving?you can reve it all the way to just under 8,000 when its not moving and ther is no noise?ive just channged the spark plugs and ignition leads because i thought this was the problem.any help would be a great help :D Quote Link to post Share on other sites
