Fitting Paseo Dials

Hi,

Okay so I've read Monkey's guide here:

But he doesn't mention anything about resetting the fuel and temp gauges?

My car's fuel dial is at a quarter full ie the 1st line after empty, but the Paseo ones are at half-full.

Could I just move the Paseo fuel needle to quarter or will it adjust automatically when I get it all wired up and running?
