Fitting Adjustable Panhold Rod

When fitting a adjustable Panhold Rod do i want the springs under compression? Like they would normally be? Also is this the same for fitting an rear Anti roll bar?

Thanks very much thats guide is rather handy. It should be on in a few weeks just been flat out. Ive fitted the panhold rod but with the spring not under tension and made a right noise when went over first pothole but now its seems alright.

I'd give that a look over just incase mate

You may have stripped something (depends on the noise though I suppose!)

Done nothing like that just made abit of a crunch over first pothole but otherwise no problems to report after that.
