  1. Thanks. I really want to keep it and save it for trackdays etc but the wife (and finances) say it's got to go Still stayed Jap tho...Well sort of! Steve
  2. Firstly - Sorry to the mods for dredging this thread from the depths! lol! Secondly - Due to being SOOOOO busy with work etc I haven't updated this (or indeed been on here) for ages Thirdly - There are now some new parts to add to this thread - Meister R Zeta R Coilovers, EBC Brakes, Braded Brake Lines and 5.1 fluid plus the usual service bits/ belts. The wheels have changed to a set of OE Speedlines (altho I still have the ATEC's) and FINALLY... I have a new car now so will be, very sadly, parting with the Starlet soon Basically I got some new responsibilities with work which involved m
  3. Whilst you have your leads and plugs out check that when you push the plug into the lead it hits and clicks. My old plug leads had obv been rammed onby a novice at some point so the internal core had moved up a bit and wasn't contacting properly. I changed them for red Magnecore's and Irdidum plugs and it ran like a dream Keep us updated bud
  4. Can't see ebay link as at work but they look similar to me. Whats the price on them?
  5. I'd have stayed where I was until they came to get you. When questioned I would have said "Well you didn't call me - I don't own a Nissan!" haha! Had my V compared to a Micra before - and a Corsa BLIND!!!
  6. Just as the meerkats say... SIMPLES! 1: You get ones with universal rails then butcher them (and the ones on your OE seats) and make them fit 2: You pay to get the proper rails (these aren't ten-a-penny or cheap) Butchering is no big deal. I'm in the process of making some fit my Recaro seats! Steve
  7. Watched the 1st series - was rubbish never watched any since - I make a point of turning over before it comes on so I can categorically say I haven't seen a second of each series!
  8. I can give a direct compatison after owning one. Firstly - Ignore the slow 0-60 times. If you learn how to get it going and can keep it in its power band it will fly. I had mine mapped to 185hp and 305lb ft torque and it was a monster. Brakes and suspension mods are a must as the OE ones are poo! (bordering on dangerous) If you like low slung cars then its a no no as they can be lowered 25/30mm safely. This is due to the long engine design and low sump. I saw someone fit coilovers then shred the sump the same afternoon! not a pretty sight. Standard Recaro seats are lovely altho the cream ge
  9. Ordered this for PS3 Looks good from the reviews - plenty of roaming space. I like the way you can be good or bad and skinning animals sounds like a right laugh! Might take friday off to play it!!
  10. Have you thought about a Proton Satria GTi? My brother road rally's one and I've owned one so I can say from experience they are a great little car. Can be bagged for £700 upwards now too!
  11. Just wondering what height and how many clicks (soft to firm) you are running? Oh and what camber angle too? Thanks
  12. I worked it out on £20 worth which gave me approx 17L of fuel. I got 160 miles from light to light
  13. All the best mate - when i change my car i'll still stay on here for the laughs!
  14. Not really Its at stock(ish) boost 0.8 bar Apexi Intake Decat Manifold TRD full system HDI Cooler Blitz EBC Coilovers EBC Brake kit inc lines Got a Sard RRFPR and HKS FCD to go on then its getting properly set up by either Autosaurus or YVS I was still rather impressed with the little starbug!
