Steve GT
i havnt seen one actually. your on about one like in cars that says e.g 17 degrees outside? I've got 3 gauges at the min and 5 spaces so i need two to fill the holes if you find one for outside temp let me know that might be a handy thing to have lol
scot-ish
easy enough to make one mate, same air inlet temp sensor, and mount it on the outside of the car, albeit, might not be too accurate driving along, with wind and what not, but sure you could get the sensor they use on the vauxhalls etc, and just wire it up to a temp gauge display, pretty easy if you ask me
Steve GT
yeah that seems a good idea actually and a pretty simple thing to dojust no where brillaint to mount it on the outside where it wouldnt look shite really haha
scot-ish
there hidden in the new cars mate, behind the grill, down near the wheel arch, just somewhere that wont get so much heat soak
starletjosh
its a pain in the ass but up behind the rear bumper would be a good place. less wind and heat soak etc
Steve GT
yeh cause behind grill when driving it will be inaccurate cause of straight cold air coming into it id say wheel arches or back bumper will be a better option lol
