Alena Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 i kinda like the fact theres not tons of members, means people can actually talk and get help if they need help etc Quote
cerberus Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 i do agree with you guys but wene ure looking for parts a bigger span of members is allways better i have both forums open at the same time so theirs allways something going on Quote
Nanglebadger Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I've no real interest in TGTT tbh, uksc for me.Phil. Quote
Alena Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 i'm guessing on TGTT you get ignored unless you have like 2k+ posts? Quote
DaMaGe Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Not at all. Post count means little to me as some of the real starlet experts don't even bother with these sites. I know one such person who I would put a lot more faith in than even some of the 5000+ post members.Someone once laughed at a local guy with 60 posts giving me advice on exhausts - little did they realise the fella had been driving a starlet turbo long before I had even seen or heard of one! Goes to show there's a life offline and it's wise to dabble in it ocassionally.Ditto Jay. There are loads of guys who know there stuff on the site more than me although i'm the highest posting freak on tgtt Quote
Alena Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 yeah i see your point, though it can also be said that people with a lot of posts learned from the site, from asking questions etc. but generally i can see where you're coming from and it does make sense. Quote
starletparts Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I think Jay said it all.My feelings exactly. You then go to the Austarlet site and it has it's own feel as well.Variety is the spice of life!PB. Quote
