want to get timing belt changed on my glanza for peace of mind

will the water pump need to be changed at the same time? and will i need to take it to a toyota specialist or is it easy enough for a mechanic at the nearest mot/service centre to do? (with it been an import)

is there anything else i should be asking or know?

thank you in advance :)

if it looks fine you can do it without changing the pump, although while the belt is off, you might as well do it mate, there not expensive so if you do it as well you wont have to do it later on when the belt is back on.

Change it while everything it out mate, only have to take things apart once then.

I did a guide on how to change the timing belt. Easy enough bud. Just a bit fiddly.

Oh things to know, one bolt on the engine mount is hidden, one bolt of the water pump housing is behind the engine mount and getting the crank pulley off without damaging it is also a bit awkward.
