De-restricting 1st And 2nd Gear?

Hi all. I read somewhere you can take the restriction out of 1st and 2nd gear by swapping some pipes round? I have posted a picture below and circled the pipes which I think you have to swap as i'm unsure which ones exactly they are. If I do swap them round will this do any damage to my car? It is standard apart from an exhaust and air filter. Will I need an adjustable actuator or anything if I do this? Thanks in advance, Lee.

It won't do any damage and you don't need any mods to do it =] Best free mod you can do tbh. =]

connect that one pipe going from the bottom right red circle to the top right circle =] by passing the solenoid on the left..

Is it quite noticeable once the pipes have been swapped? Performance wise I mean. Obviously it's not going to make a huge difference?

yes it is very noticable in 1st and 2nd insted of it being restristed it lets it get full boost

Thanks for all your help Jae-Glanza and silverglanza, really appreciate it. Is it noticeable in only high boost or also in low? Or do I loose the use of the high and low boost button?

you loose hi and low boost i got 11psi and my actuator is standerd one so if yours is up to it it will be ok doesnt do any damage you got a boost gauge ?

No problem dude, The low/hi button won't have an effect once you swap the pipes, you'll be on high boost all the time, dont worry though that won't cause any problems to your engine! after all, high boost is only around 0.7 bar =]

No dont have a boost gauge yet. Gonna get one ordered soon though. Is it basically just having your high boost button on all the time then instead of having to push it when you want the extra power? Once I have pipes swapped round, ill let you know what it's like. Thanks again, Lee.

No, they don't have the restriction, although it may raise the boost slightly bypassing the hi/lo solenoid.
