is it a sensor

when i removed my air box i pulled this out and just left it. can someone clear this up cuz i think it may be a air temp sensor although it looks like two wires pluged into a bit of plastic. anyone know. keirz

Hi mate

That is the MAF Mass Airflow Sensor, you will need it in your intake system somehow

My induction kit adapter has a special slot for it ;)

I'm sure you can find someway to get it back into your intake pipe ;)

MAF, yeah thats what I meant,.........

It tells the ECU how much air is coming in, which decides how much fuel to give the engine, mildly useful for the engine ;)
