*greg*
I tried to fit my scat rods last night only to find out that there is not enough clearence through the crank stroke cycle. Is this a common fault and anyone know how much to get the block machined ???Thanks in advance
adam starlet87
you have to get the block notched mate. Every1 who runs scat rods has to do this. a machine shop will know how to do this no problem.

Danturbo4311
Get yourself a dye grinder & do it yourself its just a case of taking a bit off the bottom of the cylinders to allow the rods clearance, If your capable of building a bottom end your more than capable of notching the block, just makesure you clean it all up properly afterwards.
