Anyone Running Led Bulbs In Rear Lights?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am looking to replace all my rear light bulbs with LED ones and I want to know which bulbs types (ie the name 382 etc..) that I need?

I've got '98 spec rear lights on my N/A. I'm not sure whether they're the full clusters or just lenses glued onto N/A cluster, but I have pics on the last page of my build thread..

-My top light in the cluster is dual filament Brake/Sidelight

-Middle is Indicator

-Bottom on both clusters are reverse.

-Middle brake light on parcel shelf is currently being used as a foglight.

I will be putting on my Glanza tailgate soon and will be using the numberplate surround reverse lights, leaving me to convert the bottom lights in my clusters to sidelights.

The other thing I want to know, is do Glanza's have the bottom light in the clusters just as sidelights or as a dual filament Brake/Sidelight too? As I want to convert my bottom bulbs to Sidelights OR Brake/Sidelights depending on what the Glanza originally has.

Thanks

Amjad

Cool man, what bulbs types are they?

Did you do the bottom sidelights too? Any chance you know what bulbs those take?

Oh and do your bottom lights light up when you brake or do they stay dim?

Thanks

Amjad
